What My Clients Are Saying

★★★★★

"Stantrel Smith is the best there is when it comes to training kids for baseball. He is so patient with the kids. He genuinely wants the kids to succeed and it shows in his training style. Stantrel is very knowledgeable about the game. He breaks baseball down in a way that even the beginner ball player will understand. He not only teaches you the physical aspects of the game but also the mental part of it that a lot of others do not teach. Stantrel starting working with our son Gino Groover when he was 8 years old. He has taught him some valuable drills and skills that he still uses to this day. Gino is now 22 and Stantrel has been the only hitting coach that he has used. Gino was drafted in the 2nd round by the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2023. Gino still works out with Stantrel about 4-5 days a week in the off season. The swing that Stantrel developed when he was 8 is the same one he has now. Why change what got you there? Stantrel has molded him into the professional ball player he is today. We are very thankful to have run into a trainer with great character and one who always puts the kids first. Thank you Stantrel! We love you"

“Coach Stantrel is a very professional hitting instructor that pays a lot of attention to detail. He knows how to teach and demonstrate to players the mechanics that he or she needs to correctly swing the bat. We have been taking our son who is now a Senior in high school to him since he was 10 years old and love how he has evolved as a hitter. Stantrel’s slogan “be the hunter not the hunted” exemplifies the kind of coach that he is and how he pushes players to go aggressively at the baseball/softball. Coach Stantrel is at the top of the list for all hitting coaches in the area and is a great resource for hitters of all ages."

“Stantrel Smith, Former 2003 MLB Draft - what can say about this gentleman; when it comes to the game of baseball many people overlook the passion for the game. It is easy to get caught up in all the glamor and things that could sidetrack your vision. Mr. Smith from day one that I meet him has been a stand-up guy and gives back his time and knowledge in the community. Our family don’t speak these works in hyperbole, Santrel has a passion for the game of Baseball and his teachings are approached in the same manner. He always speak about fundamentals when training Ethan. Many years as a dad training my son, there have been times I have tried methods, but just could not get the results. Ethan would “say dad can we go to Mr. Stantrel” and my response is absolutely! Anyone reading this testimony, these words are from the Heart and Passion for the game, lastly, I will add, if you are struggling in any the areas of Hitting, Fielding, or Base running do your Family and your Travel ball, and High school team a favor and call Stantrel (The Hit Master) Smith!"
